For the Love of Books: Two Princesses of Bamarre

Ok, so seriously, this is one of my favorite books of all time. I really don't remember the first time that I read it, but I think I was in my early teens. If you have a sister, you need to read this book! This book as been an anchor in my life! My be bold, be brave mentality has come from it! Any time I'm afraid, I think of this book. I think of the poem in it.

Basically, this book is about two sisters, one who is brave, and one who is afraid.
I think one of the reasons that I really love this book is because I have always been the fearful little sister. At least I was when I was younger. Just like Addie (the fearful sister), I have been afraid of spiders, and of losing my sisters.

I am lucky enough to have two sisters. One older, one younger. My older sister and I grew up like twins. She's just 13 months older than me and so we went through everything together. We got into all sorts of mischief as children, she always was scheming and I went along with it, terrified of getting in trouble the whole time.
My younger sister is 3 years under me. When our parents split, I became Mother, and sister to her. We've had to put aside our differences and band together.

That's my little sister on the far left, my older sister right next to her, my mom and then me. Ha ha this photo is like 5 years old.
This book makes me cry every time I read it, even though it's a little sad, it's a good kind of cry. Mostly because it's all about sisters and learning to be your own person. In any case, it's a good book! Read it and let me know what you think!
I am always looking for something good to read! What are some of your favorite books?
