Monday Moments

My little sister said that she wasn't such a fan of the little collages, so we're trying out something new this week! I do apologize for the blurry phone photos. I kinda went a little photo crazy this week. Apparently I have two settings, either I take no pictures, or I take pictures of everything. Don't worry, I spared you from the post run photos ;)

Monday the Captain and I went out. I am pretty jealous that he can rock glasses. For reals though.

This is me pretending I know how to rock the stacked bracelets. I felt way more cool than I probably should have this day (I think it was Tuesday...)

This is from River Secrets by Shannon Hale. My sentiments exactly Razo.

This is the view from the turning point of my run this week. Yes, this was the only time that I ran this week, and yes it is the first time I've been running since I ran my 5K. The Captain has been very nice and keeps telling me that you always have to take a break after running your first race. I'm pretty sure that two weeks is a little long as far as breaks go.

This is from that day that it actually acted like winter. AKA, Thursday. Also the day that I got caught taking pictures of my neighbor's trees if you follow me on instagram.

Apparently when you go on hot chocolate dates with your mom and don't actually have hot chocolate, you see everyone in the world. I saw one of the fashion bloggers that I follow, my aunt, one of my mom's coworkers, and one of my friend's little sisters. Seriously, EVERYONE was at Zupas on Friday. I highly recommend that Salted Caramel Creme Brulee by the way. I was very impressed. Also, it was just good to sit and chat with my Mom for a few hours. If you don't have dates with your parents, you should consider it.

I don't know if you got a chance to catch the sunrise on Saturday morning, but I did. I almost pulled over about 4 times to get a picture of the Sunrise coming up behind the temple. The prettiest peach color. I kind of ranted about it to the Temple workers. Sadly, by the time I got there, the sky had changed. Seriously beautiful though. I always think, yeah, I'll get up every morning with the sun and watch the sun rise! Then I open my eyes and think, I'm way too tired. I'm going back to sleep. I really need to get better at going to bed early!

This is from Saturday night. Such good times. We decided that the hashtag #TheBlondeJoke is pretty much ours. I am so grateful for good friends like these. We've been friends since we were 14 and we still love each other like crazy. Forever friends, they're hard to find, but they're awesome when you do!

What were your favorite moments from last week? Do you have some forever friends? :)
