Monday Moments

Well this week was jam packed with moments. Most of them undocumented on camera. For example, the time that I hit my dad's cable box and bawled my eyes out for an hour (I don't do well when I make mistakes). That was less than fun. It was a good week, but also a kind of awful week, so that by the time that Saturday hit I decided to get all dolled up for no other reason than I really just needed to feel beautiful that day.

This is how Soleil feels about mornings. I would join her in the sentiment, but if I'm honest, I kind of love mornings. Once I'm actually out of bed that is.

This is one of the 4 or 5 snakes that live under my porch. I think we named him Jedekiah. My mom is less than a fan, so if you know anyone who wants to adopt some garter snakes you should totally come get them, because my mom is starting to threaten violence.

This month's Mom date took us to Cafe Wave. It's brand new and really good. I'd never been before and I was impressed. Although, I do have to say that the fries were borderline cold and you guys all know how I feel about french fries. In case you were wondering that's only half the sandwich, my mom and I split it. SO good. I may or may not be going back next month with The Blonde Joke.

I actually read 2 books this week! And they were great. Truly. Both of them. Probably detailed reviews to come!

The Blonde Joke Brunch on Sunday. So good and so good to see these girls! And of course we were #eatingbacon.

Still not totally happy with the format of Monday Moments. Working on it!

I also decided this last week to sign up for Camp NaNoWriMo in an effort to finish some past NaNoWriMo projects. And I looked at clothes online. I shouldn't have done that. I haven't bought any yet... but it's only a matter of time!

Anybody else do something crazy this last week?

Leave me a note in the moments! Thanks for reading!
