Monday Moments

Hey! Its been a long time! I spent the last couple weeks helping my husband out at his work and didn't really have time to blog. But I'm back! I really missed blogging!

So here's what happened the last two weeks.

My Mom took us up to Snowbird for the weekend as our birthday presents for the year. So we got to play with the whole family and do the alpine slide and all of those other fun things up there. It was really pretty and I enjoyed spending the time with everyone.

So this is how the Captian and I celebrated the Fourth of July. We mostly chilled at home. We went out and got burgers at lunch (because burgers are American, right?). The Captain learned that a black bean burger has no meat and that it's basically just ground up black beans. He did not like it.

Then we came home and watched a documentary. After which we walked to the closest grocery store to get hot dogs (because they are also very American) and ended up also getting some fireworks and drinks.

Then we watched Friends until it got dark and did fireworks off our balcony (during which I was very afraid that we were going to catch something on fire, but we didn't!).

And that's, apparently, how the Stoll's do the 4th of July.
