Hey, everyone! I hope that you all had a great week! My first week as a 26-year-old went by so fast!
My hubby made me french toast for breakfast on my birthday.
And got me this necklace with the coordinates of where he proposed to me.
I spent most of the morning making crepes for a crepe cake (it has been on my cooking bucket list forever, and I figured that it was about time that I check it off).
Then selfie time of my birthday outfit :)
We took the classic Zoo picture by the gorillas. It's basically a requirement if you're in my family and you go to the zoo.
This guy was showing off the entire time we were there. I'm not complaining :)
And of course we had to see the crocodiles for the Captain (if you didn't know, he's allergic to all things fuzzy and has developed a love for reptiles as a result).
We went to Red Robin for dinner. I am a sucker for anything Buffalo! I was less than impressed with our server. I had to send my food back once because he forgot I wanted buffalo. We did also tell him it was my birthday and he was going to give us a free sundae, which he completely forgot and I didn't feel it necessary to remind him.
The finished product of the crepe cake :) Made with Nutella :)
I already set to work on my goals for being 26. So far I'm a little behind on running and stretching, but other than that I'm on track! (I took this picture like 1 day into being 26).
My latest watercolor attempt.
So, croissants are basically one of my favorite foods and on Friday I got to have warm freshly baked croissants. I've often said that if I could have croissants and fresh fruit for breakfast every day I'd be a very happy girl.
Needless to say, I was pretty happy, even though I was up WAY earlier than normal.
