Letter to Our Baby Boy

Dear Little Man,

We are so excited to meet you. I definitely wasn't this ready to have your sister when she came, but bags are packed, meals prepped, diapers bought... the list is almost completely checked off. I honestly didn't think that we would make it this far before meeting you. I'm hoping that you don't mind having your birthday so close to Christmas. It's definitely a special month.

I'm excited to raise a son and to teach you all that I can about how to make this world a better place. We're pretty granola these days and I hope that means that you grow up appreciating all that the world around you is and what a gift it is. I hope we teach you to appreciate and love people, no matter who they are or what their circumstances are. I hope that we teach you to do what is right, not what is easy. I hope that we teach you not to judge those who choose to live differently. I hope we teach you to respect women and appreciate them.

Mostly, I hope that we teach you to love.

You are so loved already by your daddy and me and so many others. Your sister might take some convincing, but she'll love you too in the end.

Love always,

I decided to post these this week because I'm really hoping that by next Thursday I have a baby instead of a belly. Well, I'll still have a belly, but you know what I'm saying. My due date will be tomorrow when you're reading this. I'm personally hoping for a baby born either today (Wednesday), or Friday. Today because that would mean that both my babies would be born on the full moon. Friday because that would be Friday the 13th. I'd also take Thursday because it's my due date and that would be kind of cool. Also, my doctor would probably be able to deliver him if he's born before Friday. She wasn't able to deliver Everly so it would be nice to have her all the way to the end this time.

Thanks for reading! Hopefully, you'll be seeing some new baby pictures very soon :)
